SMCL Teen Film Festival

Teens Across the County

The 8th Annual SMCL Teen Film Festival was a tremendous success! We had 30 entries and over 100 people in attendance on a rainy Saturday. The entries came from all over the county, and it was wonderful to see the filmmakers connect during the intermission. A number of filmmakers and their parents enthusiastically reported that this festival, as well as the 72- Hour Challenge, motivated them to keep making films. Several have already asked when the next contest will be!

2nd Place: Accepted by Marlon Fu and Max Jung
3rd Place: Synesthesia by Ashley Burnett
